Donna M. DeCunzo-Taddeo President of Voodoo Tiki Tequila Corp. In less than one year, the brand became available in twelve (12) states and four (4) Countries. In April 2007, the Company has contracted with Admiral Imports, a US Importer who will bring Voodoo Tiki Tequila into a twenty-three (23) states by mid 2008.
Voodoo Tiki offers a full range of high-concept, high-quality Ultra-Premium tequila each made from 100% Blue Agave plants aged anywhere from 8-12 years, and bottled in Mexico as set forth by Mexican Law. The Tequila Factory is located in Anrandas, Mexico, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico and the corporate headquarters are in Lighthouse Point, Florida. Voodoo Tiki offers tequilas that suit every need and taste, from the occasional tequila drinker to hard-core traditionalists and connoisseurs. First to offer three of ten infused tequilas including Prickly Pear, Lime and Blue Kiwi. The brand was developed originally by Donna's husband, writer/director, John Taddeo.
Donna is also Registered Dietitian and is licensed by the state of Florida's Board of Medicine. In her former private practice in Coral Springs, Florida, she researched and developed a 12-week weight management program which later became the foundation of the eDiets.com program which she developed in 1996.
During her time with eDiets.com, it became the largest subscription-based online diet, fitness and counseling center available, where consumers can register for a private, personalized weight-loss or "healthy living" program accessible 24/7 from their computer.
As former Chairman of the Board on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Coconut Creek, she is an active member in the community. Her published articles include monthly nutrition columns for Senior Life and Boomer Times, Fitness Link and Bella Online and Happy Times Monthly, as well as several nutrition-related articles for The National Lymphoma Foundation. She has also authored the "Weight Loss and Weight Management" chapter written for the Florida Dietetic Association's Diet 2005 Manual.
Ms. DeCunzo-Taddeo has maintained high visibility with the press, and has been quoted and interviewed by large media outlets including: CNN, NBC, The NY Times, Entrepreneur, Cosmopolitan, Women's World, and Women's Day.
